| Cattle Management/Health | |
| Natural calves were pastured with their dams – no creep feeding, weaned Sept 13. Embryo calves were raised near Rhame at the Simonson and Lee Ranches. After weaning in the fall, all of the calves are developed and tested on growing rations at the ranch. (Bulls are limit fed Harvest States Bull Challenger, along with free choice long-stem hay.) We follow our Vet recommended total vaccination program and we are BQA certified. |

| Individuals interested in viewing the bulls offered for sale can stop by anytime prior to February 21. Call 701-974-3966 or 290-2556 to let us know you are coming. We would be happy to show you the cattle. To reach the Messmer Red Angus headquarters, go 1 1/2 miles south of I-94 (Exit 84) on ND Hwy 8, then 1/2 mile west. To view the sale cattle at the East Ranch, go 1 1/2 miles south of I-94, turn east and go 2 miles, then 1/4 mile south into the yard. All sale bulls will be at Stockmen's Livestock, Dickinson, ND for your inspection after February 21, 2008. |
